Diversity/Equity/Inclusion and Public Policy

The Public Policy Group plays a critical role in informing the Chapter, which in turn informs National about important issues.  National AAUW’s Public Policy Priorities, adopted every two years by every -member vote, establish the federal action issues on which AAUW members across the country focus their advocacy efforts and guide the work of the national staff.  States and branches also use Public Policy Priorities to inform their advocacy efforts on state and local issues.

Conscious and unconscious bias has been a major focus of Sheboygan’s DEI/Public Policy Committee for the past year and continues into this year.

Global Connections

Meetings are held at 1 p.m. on the third Monday of the month in the lounge of First Congregational Church, 310 Bluff Avenue. We welcome all members who wish to study current global topics and those who love to travel.

WWW will continue to explore places of interest in the greater Sheboygan County and nearby.    We will notify branch members as we organize the plans for each outing.

All Branch members are invited to participate.
